Would listeria be killed on cheesecloth going through a regular home washer dryer cycle? - home cheesemaking
In the preparation of foods, particularly cheese, may Listeria is a serious problem. Can not find list of my cheese, but my inspector was scared, I wash my rug in the milk, washing machine, as my cheeecloths. Listeria grow happy in wet conditions and survive the cold. Do not think that I manage to survive a blow, but I do not know exactly. Bleach is not an option for my cheese, because it gives a taste of chlorine in the cheese, but I use it on carpets. Boil the Web is not an option because they do not have room for a lot of stuff cooking.

Find out if your incoming water disinfected with chlorine, and if so, how much per cent. Chlorine kills the bacteria and listeria, which you can use warm water to wash the stamens. View report of the inspector for approval. Also, you can your heater on high.
I would say that if you are the hottest water possible, even if it were safe, but if you can have a certain culture that you washed and after a little more
